THE SESSION, SJU + BIG TOOTH present:
ACTION-DE-BASS / THANKSGIVING LONG WEEKEND with
DELTA HEAVY [UK] – https://www.facebook.com/
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Battering down the doors of the genre elitists come a pair of producers plucked from the ranks of Ram’s new generation of incredible music making talents. In a little over a year Delta Heavy, or Si James and Ben Hall to their mums, have already proven their drum & bass metal with a succession of heavy-hitting original tracks.
2011 saw remixes for the likes of Example, Avicii and Chase & Status and secured Delta Heavy as a name to watch, but the highly anticipated follow up to their massive debut single was always going to deliver. ‘Overkill / Hold Me’ has cemented them as bass innovators and leading lights in the current hype that surrounds much of bass music today. Packed with energy, the single takes dubstep, drumstep and drum & bass formulas, infusing them with enormous electro influences, slamming drums and razor sharp production, then spits them back out with rave-destroying force. Hold Me received over a million views of the official video in a little over a week and received daytime radio play from Skream & Benga, Mistajam & Kissy Sell Out.
Their latest venture on Ram, the massive ‘Down The Rabbit Hole’ EP, has seen Delta Heavy top mutiple charts in D&B, Dubstep and beyond, ‘Get By’ has become THE summer festival anthem. Most recently, their remix of Excision & Datsik’s ‘Crowd Control’ proves just how far they’ve come, sitting firmly at #1 on beatports d&b top 10 for ages.

Its been an amazing year for multi award winning drum & Bass superstar DJ Friction. As well as continuing to DJ all over the world and his label Shogun Audio establishing itself in the top 3 drum & bass labels, he has produced some of the biggest tracks of 2010.
‘Stand Up’ (vs Camo & Krooked), his remix of Wretch 32′s ‘Traktor’ and his stomping remix of ‘Sweetshop’ (w Camo & Krooked) have torn dancefloor’s to shreds all over the place with more to come in 2012.
Also released this year was the highly successful ‘Mixed’ CD on Ministry of Sound which featured over 50 tracks from right across the board of the scene, as well as the ‘Way Of The Warrior’ Album project on his very own Shogun Audio label.
If you’re coming to witness a Friction DJ set, prepare to be blown away with mix after mix because this man never disappoints!

Montreal’s VILIFY has taken her city’s electronic music scene by storm.
Founder and resident DJ of Montreal’s most popular weekly ‘Bass Drive Wednesdays’, (voted #1 Best Club Night in The Mirror’s Best of Montreal 2011) her night pushes the hardest and darkest Dubstep, DNB, Jungle and more. Voted #2 Best Club DJ in The Mirror’s Best of Montreal 2011, she has built up an enviable reputation with her signature dubstep sets, versatility over the entire DNB spectrum & whatever else she feels like (hip hop, reggae, jazz, raggacore, breakcore, metal).
Watch out for this pretty little thing, her dirty beats will destroy your soles.

No strangers to the D&B scene, J.Dare & Corey K have been pairing up under the name ‘Crimewave’ for about a year and the response has been phenomenal.
From the very first FREE BASS event, to opening up for Figure at Club Soda, every show has been kind of amazing. Crimewave have some big things planned for 2012 so keep buying them shots.
MASTER-FADERS
[Sub:Stance/Aritcalclothing.com/DnB Lives Here]

These two are fresh faces to the Montreal bass scene but no strangers to rocking epic shows. Individually they’ve been at the front lines of the massive dubstep and drumstep movement for years!
Formerly living in Calgary Alberta, Jamie Sho is fresh off a prime-time set at Shambhala Music Festival in 2011. Jamie’s roots take him back to the massive Drum and Bass take-over in Canada in the late 90s. He’ll be reppin DnB/Jungle till the end!
Jams has had an epic year in Edmonton at the helms of DnB Lives Here along side monter drum and bass producers John Rolodex and T Power. Her non-stop dedication to Drum and Bass earned her the crown among the DnB Girls Of Canada along side names like Sw@t, B-Traits, Illesha & Crystal Fresh.
With so many years in the biz and huge apetites for dancefloor destruction these two combine to take shit to the next level!
